Does Tourette's worsen with age?

I found the name for my "tics" 20 years ago when my twin sons were diagnosed. I am 62 now and what I read is conflicting in answers. It is harder for me to conceal and at night when I relax my husband says lovingly that I am better to watch than TV. My stress level is pretty high. Also have Fibromyalgia--advanced. Wondering if the two run together?

i am only 20 years old, so perhaps you should take what i say with a grain of salt. that said, i have Tourette's myself. it used to be very noticeable and quite a nuisance but in recent years it has calmed down drastically. i have read extensively about Tourette's and i have very seldom heard of it worsening with age; the vast majority find that it decreases as time goes on. but, obviously that doesn't change what you are experiencing.

strangely enough i also have fibromyalgia as well as narcolepsy. i knew fibro and narcolepsy were comorbid but i never thought to question if there was a connection between fibro and Tourette's, but now that you mention it, i definitely will look into that.
