When did your first drop?

I'm 38w6d, 2cm, 50%, lost my plug this morning...but my girl won't drop.

My mom says I didn't drop until she was in active labor, but that doesn't seem normal from what I've seen...my friend is due 4 days after and her son dropped like 3 weeks ago...

The doctor didn't seem too worried, but she did seem to think she should have dropped by now. Even said it's possible the reason she hasn't is 'cause she's too big!

Anyone drop at the last minute or was it mostly earlier?

I dropped at 34 weeks and gave birth at 38weeks 3 days

I lost my mucus plug at 7am, water broke at 10am, contractions started at 12pm, and my baby was born at 10:13pm.

Good luck, not much longer now!

Also when I got checked at my 38week appointment I wasn't effaced, dilated or anything at all!

Totally depends on the size of the baby and the way your body is built. Sounds like it could be genetic and that chances are your daughter wont drop until labor starts. She will eventually drop (which caused my problems with my hips) so enjoy the time she's still riding high and know that it wont be long either way.
