Hearing Aids; which one is best?

Question

I have never had a digital hearing aid before but I am considering buying one.  In the past a particularly good and durable non-digital aid that I have had was a Starkey.  So I am thinking that maybe I should stick with that brand.  But someone has told me that Starkey's digital aid left a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability.  I would appreciate getting comments about that brand as well as others concerning your experience along these lines.  Thanks.

 I would agree with Siemans being the best and Rexton being a close second based on their having recently being acquired by Siemans. I'm not familiar with the rest. Don't buy any that can't be professionally adjusted on site using a computer. I'm only speaking from my own personal experience

I changed to digital about six years ago,but the hospital have called them in and am waiting for a new set which are supposed to have a better range.We get them for free in Britain also free batteries.

I have a brand Called Resound It is in the canal kind They so far have worked well no whistle what so ever Pricy, but you get what you pay for.

Have your doctor let you try a bunch and see what's most comfortable.  The more comfortable they are, the more likely you will wear them.
