Merrick Whole Earth Farms (was starting to get low, had 42 cups of dog food left) and Exceed Chicken and Rice Formula. I mixed the remaining Merrick with Exceed and my dogs love it. They occasionally get a piece of raw meat or pieces because it's old or I just feel like giving them some. lol!! They also get scraps (they have a large bucket in the fridge) that are given to them whenever it becomes full. I also buy canned dog food for them (it's a special treat for them because they rarely get canned food anymore).
Why? You should see their fur, stool, teeth, etc. They gobble it up faster than the other foods I used to buy them. It smells really good too, especially Merrick *smells like home-made soup* and Exceed smells like a faint chicken and oatmeal to me. It's cheap to purchase when you think about it ($40 for Merrick, depending on the size or $33 for Exceed) I can save up that easily. My little dog deserves the best (she's my own first dog) and my mother's dog deserves something good to eat, even though I could care less about what he eats. hahahaa. I couldn't leave him out, so I got both dogs the same brands of food (Merrick-35ilbs bag/8 ilbs bag and Exceed-44ilbs bag for both) because he was always in Teensy's bowl when I was experimenting with Avo-derm and he was eating Dog Chow. Hahaha. My dog food bill would be much, much cheaper if I was just feeding my own dog (Teensy). I don't really mind though, as long as he stays outta my dog's bowl now.

Pro Plan chicken and rice dry kibble, all life stages. I am following the advice of a highly qualified team of professionals. People that can pick up the phone and get through the the chair of the animal nutrition department at a major university. A slightly better source of information than your local Petsmart manager or dog food analysis.
I also have years of experience feeding it to my dogs and seeing thousands other dogs that eat it.

Taste of the Wild dog food because it is one of the best choices of many good dog foods and I feel if you feed a good quality dog food your dog will live a healthier life and less visits to your vet. A good quality dog food will also have less filler so you will also have less waste to clean up.

Ole Roy High Protein. I know, I know, it is supposed to be one of the worst things you can feed a dog,......according to many & most on this site.
I have not had any issues with food problems. NONE. Coats are healthy, teeth are great, no allergies, no skin problems. dogs are healthy & haven't had need of a Vet except for rabies shots.
The only problem is the size of the bites. Birds steal the dogs food.
I have spent most of my life rescuing stray dogs, never adopted, never bought a dog. They all ate Ole Roy. One dog may have has a problem with food but the Vet said it was contact dermatitis.
first three ingredients are meat, meat by products & corn. Plus, when I am flush they get canned dog food once a day.
I can't afford to eat steak, so I can't afford the high quality dog foods either. It balances out. & it works for us.

Because they are a good quality food at a reasonable price, and my dog gets along with it ok.
The poorer quality foods bring him out in itchy rashes... and the richer expensive foods give him diarrhoea.
Those foods are best *for MY dog*..... *your* own mileage may vary.

Feed him/her purina O.N.E. We feed it to my dog and we sometimes mix some Beniful with it but both have really good nutrition and my dog loves the taste. Never feed him/her wet food it doesn't settle right with their stomachs.

The best food is raw mixed with a commercial food to make sure they get all the necessary vitamins. I have instructions on raw feeding in my blog you can check it out by going to the following link.

Grain free dry food. I do it because my dog is healthy, never gets squirts or has gas!
