Definition of God ----------------------?

"eternal, full in knowledge, full in bliss (happiness), with a form"

can anyone disagree with this definition in their heart?

if we can have a form, why is it that God can't ?

thank you.

Update:

@ Tigger, where does "female" fit in all this ? .. i won't change my profile... my form is temporary. but God's form is eternally blissful.

Update 2:

@ Actinomo, yes your heart must agree in to it. but is it possible that someone else knows that definition that also makes sense to your heart ? at least God knows that definition, as He knows everything, right?

Update 3:

@ Octinomo, i am sorry for misspelling.

it is so foolish to answers questions that don't merit you or whatever you answer doesn't really matter.

but anyways here is my answer to this question:

God is god, he formed man in his likeness, therefore man looks like god, for God is he, a male in form but with god essence, perfect. Perfect in all as is, without evil in heart, but knows evil for he is god and knows all before ages begun till there is no time, for the children of the heavens and the earth shall be one says the Lord. have peace to my answer my brothers for this is trustworthy.

God is one who generates(G), observes(O) and Destroys(D) , or the one from whom, every thing happens and cause of all change. But if we go in depth of Hinduism, a new concept occurs. Under Vaishnavism, Sri Vishnu is supreme and for Shaivism, Shiva is God but the both of two suggests Radha and Shakthi are the actual powers behind Krishna and Shiva respectively. On the other hand Shaktas think that Goddess Adi parashakti is only generator, preserver and destroyer and known as dynamic essence of ultimate reality, OM, then one who is dimensionless, nirguna, who is neither male nor female, and is totally a static consciousness. But Devi-Bhagvata Purana suggests that the ultimate reality, OM always appears in front of us in the form of Female or known as Shakti, the cause of all change and dynamic herself, more over she actually performs the task of trimurti and trimurti are just referred as machines. So this concept suggests that GOD as mother is prevalent in Hinduism.thanks

    Someone to talk to.

God has appeared in the form of paintings and carvings from artists imagination.

Muslims do not allow this as they believe it to be idolitory

Catholics have these in abundance as they believe he once had human form....or at least part of him was....oh, wait but there is but one god not 3......hmmmmmmm.

Nature (Teva) has the same numerical value (in Hebrew) as the word God (Elokim). Studying and carrying out Gods will is the same as studying and carrying out the laws of nature. God/nature is perfect, good, eternal, full in knowledge etc. but has no form. These laws of nature are mostly hidden from us, meaning we can’t see God. Still we at large treat God as a person and ask him to change for us, but since He is a law he will not change. Electricity or gravity doesn’t change if we pray to it. In order to serve God correctly we should change ourselves instead and gain balance with Him/with nature. For that we need to study the laws of nature in which we exist. Today humanity is facing numerous challenges due to an imbalance. We have entered a phase where we no longer can use nature to suit our needs. Our incapability to see God as what he really is has brought us to a crisis on a global scale that we can’t seem to find any solution to. The simple solution is to change to align ourselves with a new situation in which nature/God has placed us. We need a change in paradigm: instead of altering the environment to suit our egoistic needs we now need an internal transformation to optimize our chances to survive as a species. This transformation equals to the revelation of God, meaning reaching balance with nature.

Form (as we know it) is always contained. As an example, my body is contained within a room that is contained within a house which is contained within my town, etc.. Everything that is contained is less (by definition) than its container. If God could be defined with words or limited by form, He/She/It would not be God.

God can not be "defined" in the sense that any number of words can fully describe God, but words can be used to describe many of God's qualities. These words include eternal, omniscient, and omnipresent, but they don't fully encompass exactly what God is.

GOD is loving, sincere, honest, a true friend, dependable, reliable, nurturing, disciplinarian, and the list goes on.

GOD does have a form, His form is in Spirit, but HE can choose any form HE wishes.

    GOD Bless
