Honestly, how many here assumed the murderer at the Jewish school in France a Muslim?

And then how many felt chagrine upon learning the same weapon was used to kill two Muslims from North Africa (one African, one Arab) earlier?

Update:

@short and sweet, I didn't accuse anybody

@Simple Simon, it's one thing to try to confuse the issue, another to fabricate- "A ballistics report from the French police links the 11.43 caliber weapon used at Ozar Hatorah to two earlier fatal shootings, one on March 1 and one on March 15. " Christian Science Monitor "French confounded by motivation in Jewish school shooting, earlier killings" March 19, 2012

THIS is what happens when you fan the hatred of Muslims- or any other minority; ALL minorities suffer! Hasn't history taught people ANYTHING?

Update 2:

@ag318pun, there are the families of the 69 Muslim children killed in Norway just last year that would strongly disagree with you.

Update 3:

@YK Cherson- You must REALLY HATE Muslims to keep sreading such lies. "However, Thursday's victims had not served in Afghanistan, according to a military official. One of those killed had served in Africa, while the other two had served in French territories overseas but not in other countries, the official said." "France boosts security after soldiers killed", CBC News, March 16th, 2012

While none of the soldiers served in Afghanistan, ALL were members of visible minorities (3 Africans, 1 Arab- two were from North Africa and Muslim). Next time, try actually RESEARCHING instead of just spewing hate.

Update 5:

@oh how we poor Arabs suffer- as I stated earlier- the French soldiers had NOT come from Afghanistan, had NEVER served there. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012/03/16/fran...

I guess the honourable thing to do would be to apologize (but I'm not going to hold my breath)

However you do other famous hate mongerers like Josef Goebbels proud!

What a coincidence you answered RIGHT after YK Cherson and RIGHT after "short and sweet" edited! hmmm...

And no, exposing racist bigots never spoils my day!

Update 6:

@esther- and Israelis never kill Muslims? Seems to me the Israelis are far ahead on that one. I wouldn't call Yahoo! answers an authoritive on an OPINION, since there is no way of knowing who's on the other end. If I posted a reference to a blogger from Gush Etzion that said that all Palestinians were terrorists and wanted to kill every Jew (I guess that includes Christian Palestinians too), is that indicative of ALL Israelis, let alone ALL Jews? If I posted a speech from a Rabbi saying Judea and Samaria must be cleansed of the Arab, is that indicative of ALL Jews?

Update 8:

@oh how we poor Arabs suffer- you obviously don't know anything about combat engineers nor about regiment deployment nor did Colonel Pierre-Yves Sarzaud say the murdered paratroopers served in Afghanistan. So now your claim is that the Associated Press in cahoots with the national news service in Canada is just making it up? Rather than just own up to the facts you must continue in your charade? Plus there were THREE killings, only two belonged to the 17th, one belonged to the First Parachute transport regiment and was in civilian clothes- he was an Arab.

I just love when Esther starts spewing anti-Muslim and anti Palestinian propaganda and then says, not all Muslims are like that. Everyone can smell your hate my friend as you make no attempt to hide it. Just remember that next time you scream "you hate the Jews"

People should not step that low and copy-paste form hate sites. If someone wants to learn something about Jewish teachings for example, they should not go to anti-Jewish sites.

Not I, because a few days before, some dark skinned French vets were shot.

I'm good enough in math to put one and one together and realize that we are dealing with a racist organization, just as they were in England a couple of years ago (they got the guy before he killed any Jews).

The ballistics have already shown (it's reported in the Israeli press) that the bullets came from the same gun.

    Hope they get the bustard.

I actually thought that the killings in France were done by some ultra nationalist(s).

Source(s): has the killer been found yet?

Oh, because Muslims never kill Jews, right? I just got done reading a Muslim answer on another question that Islam teaches its followers that the Jews are cursed. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aiz.z...

On another recent question, the Arab asker admitted that Arabs are brought up to hate Jews and that Muslims are taught to hate the cursed Jews. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AipFd...

So there have never been any Muslim terrorists who have targeted Jews, right? How many cases like that have been documented?

I personally didn't assume anything other than antiSemitism on the part of the attacker since they kept mentioning in the media that it was a Jewish school. But I wouldn't blame anyone who did make that assumption.

And what will you do if it turns out he IS Muslim? I won't condemn all Muslims for the act of a lunatic, but you seem to be assuming he's not. You do know what they say about the word "assume", right?

    @Michardav: Better reference:

    http://www.factsofisrael.com/blog/archives/000365....

"Anti-Semitism has long been a factor in the fate of Jews wherever they lived, but in the Middle East, it is embedded so deeply into its culture, its society, and the hearts of its people that it truly is beyond the comprehension of most Americans.

"We are now confronted with an entire region of the world and a religion of 1.3 billion worldwide for whom this kind of thinking is repeated daily by imams from their pulpits in mosques.

"'There really are people who hate Christians, hate Jews, hate secularism, hate the equality of women. At some point you have to either kill those people or be killed by them,' says Friedman.

"Other religions have passed through their reformations, but until Islam does, no 'infidel' can feel safe from attack. The Arab war against Israel is the Islamic war against all Jews and all Christians. It is the Islamic war against all Hindus and all Buddhists."

    http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/Quran-Hate...

"Verse 5:60 even says that Allah transformed Jews of the past into apes and pigs. This is echoed by verses 7:166 and 2:65.

"A hadith says that Muhammad believed rats to be 'mutated Jews' (Bukhari 54:524, also confirmed by Sahih Muslim 7135 and 7136).

"According to Islamic law, non-Muslims may be owned as property by Muslims, but - in keeping with Islam's supremacist message - a fellow Muslim should never be (unless they convert to Islam after enslavement). Even Christians and Jews are not considered fully human in that the penalty for killing one of them is limited to one-third of the compensation due for unintentionally killing a Muslim."

"Although it is common for Muslims to become upset about anyone 'insulting' their religion, here is what the Quran says about Jews and Christians:

The Jews call Ezra a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30) (See also Bukhari 8:427), one of the last things Muhammad ever said on his deathbed was 'May Allah curse the Jews and Christians.')

"Jews are also cursed by Allah (5:13), in one of his final pronouncements. The Quran goes on to assure Muslims that Jews are wicked (4:160-162) – so wicked, in fact, that they have somehow managed to do the impossible (18:27) and alter the word of Allah (2:75). Jews are 'fond of lies' and 'devour the forbidden' (5:42).

The Quran assures believers that Jews and Christians have 'diseased hearts' (5:52). Allah even takes credit for the enmity between them (5:14). Only Jews and Christians who submit to Islamic subjugation and pay the Jizya are protected in this world (9:29 & Ibn Ishaq 956).

    ----------------

I could go on and on, but I won't. I have nothing against "peaceful" Muslims. However, the Qur'an does say that Jews are cursed, not just a couple of Y!A posters.

Is this indicative of ALL Muslims, like you say? No, of course not. I really try to respect other people's religions unless they preach hatred. Then I get offended. However, although most Muslims are not terrorists, most terrorists are Muslim. And that's the point.

Let´s first put the facts straight.

    1. The assassin used the same weapon that was used during the assassination of three French paratroopers: one sergeant from Tolouse and two soldiers of the paratroopers detachment in Montoubane: Colt - 45. One of them was from Senegal and other two were from Northern Africa.

    2. All the three paratroopers recently returned from Afganistan where they took part in the combat missions against Taliban and Al Qaeda - i.e. muslim terrorist groups.

    3. The assassin who operated in the Jewish school had the video camera on his neck, i.e.he was filming, which means he was a hired assassin. But he was not the same person who had attacked the French paratroopers. The assassin who attacked the paratroopers was, by the description of the eyewitnesses, tubby, while the school shooter was said to appear very fit and evidently very calm, cool and with a good combat experience.

Logical chain: the same paymaster hired two different persons and armed the second with the same weapon. The anti- Jewish character of the attack is absolutely evident, and the version that it was perpetrated by the Nazi groups could be quite logic - if not the attack on hte paratroopers that was carried out with the same weapon. This attack was clearly a revenge to Muslims for participating in the military operations against Muslims.

Conclusion: the attack on the Jewish school was perpetrated by the same MUSLIM group that organized the revenge attack on French paratroopers.

Michardav, if I spoiled your day - I am NOT sorry.

Edit. The 17th Parachute Engineering Regiment has been deployed in Afghanistan where 4 of its 800 members have died in fighting in the past year, according to Colonel Pierre-Yves Sarzaud, the army spokesman. So, it´s a proven fact nobody in his right mind is going to argue (except you maybe, but I said: in his right mind). At least one of the three regiment members attacked Thursday served in Afghanistan and took part in combat missions. It´s also a proven fact.

Your information is based upon the CBC quoting: "However, Thursday's victims had not served in Afghanistan, according to a military official."

Could you be so kind to tell us the name of this "military official"? The army spokesman Colonel Pierre-Yves Sarzaud says they did. Some unknown "military official" says they did not , although the 17th Parachute Engineering Regiment has been deployed in Afghanistan. So, they were not taken there, together with their regiment. Why? Because of the bad behaviour? They refused to drink tomato juice and listen to what mummy says?

You are absolutely right; it would be an honourable thing to apologize. But to expect from you an honourable thing? It´s absolutely impossible.

Why are you trying to mislead the people?

Those who were killed were not just some "Muslims from North Africa"; they were FRENCH PARATROOPERS who recently returned from Afghanistan.

And there were not two, but three of them: two northern Africans and one French soldier of Senegali origin. One of them was a sergeant of the paratroopers regiment in Toloise and soldiers were from the paratroopers regiment of Montobane. Two more sodliers were wounded in the attack.

They were killed because they were in Afghanistan, fighting against thier "brothers in Islam".

Who could kill them? Well, start your usual crap about "dancing Jews", "Mossad agents" - and so on; you will not deceive anyone, because your long muslim ears stick out even from under the fool´s cap you sometimes put on.

They were murdered by muslims. And children in the Jewish school - too.

This was the work of an indiscriminate killer probably similar to Norway's serial killer. This was his third attack in the same number of weeks against all and sundry Just because his latest was against a Jewish school proves nothing He may have been a Muslim or even Jewish . Who knows until this crazy man is finally caught.

They don't know who it is yet. It very well may be an Islamist. The others killed were soldiers who'd been in Afghanistan. Combined with Jews, makes extremist Muslim a real possibility. So is mental illness. White supremest is possible too.

We'll know when the police catch him. Unlike you, who accuse people prematurely.

Add for comments: Stating an accusation as a "question" doesn't make it less so. You posted in Israel travel at Jews.

My first thought on the news, "antisemite." Then as page loaded, "maybe one of those nuts on shooting sprees." The article was political, and I thought Muslim or still sounds like a nut. Question I have - US jewish sites nationwide are being police directed to up security. What are French police saying to US police?

Muslims are known for their intentional killings of people

in other countries, especially Jews. I have yet to hear even

one killing of a Muslim in any country beside the Middle East.

Jews just don't do those things. If I was the leader of Israel,

I would tell the Gaza people that if one more rocket lands

in Israel, we will come in and wipe you people out for good.

    I'll admit, I did.

Yes, I know it's wrong to assume such; however, I'm human, and I've taken way too many psych classes to know that, as a human, I have to make a guess. And since "murder" and "Jewish victim" and "France" are my primes, and the only other French homicide that came to mind was Ilan Halimi, my mind naturally thought Muslim first.

Though, it was not convinced to move past any "probably" stage, so I felt no embarrassment when I found out my assumption was wrong. So, no chagrin was felt when I learned my assumption was wrong. It wasn't like I was focusing on the fact that I thought it was probably a Muslim too hard, anyway. Assumptions are made to fill in holes in the story, and can be easily discarded.
