I am insecure when it comes to caucasian people even though my dad is white?

and I have many close friends that are white. I seem to think that they will judge me based on my race, if I sit next to them on the train, bus or stand next to them in the street. Logically I know that this is completely crazy to even allow myself to think about this as they are strangers. Due to this I usually make sure I place myself next to people with darker skin so I won't feel awkward. It makes me feel upset that I think such negative things as not everyone is so judgemental. please dont judge me as I already know it is really crazy!.

Many more mixed race people act than should on average. Perhaps it helps them to be seen as an individual rather than a stereotype.

I'm pretty sure you're not the only one. Every person deals with situations like this every once in a while.

People in this world are shallow and will always judge first based off of physical appearance; this is all humans (The majority at least) can see when they first encounter somebody after all. It's even more uncomfortable when you're in an area where the majority of people look a certain way; it can sometimes create feelings of isolation.
