Which of these "Love styles" do you consider your definition of the "true love"?

a) Game-playing love:

This person plays at love as others play tennis or chess: to enjoy the "love game" and to win it. No relationship lasts for long and usually ends when the partner becomes boring or too serious. A game player might agree that "I enjoy playing the 'game of love' with a number of different partners".

b) Pragmatic Love;

This is the love that goes shopping for a suitable mate, and all it asks is that the relationship work well, that the two partners be compatible and satisfy each other's basic needs. The practical lover seeks contentment rather than excitment. He or she might agree that "one consideration in choosing a partner is how he or she will reflect on my career".

c)Romantic Love:

Love is an all-consuming emotional experience. love at forst sight is typical, and physical attraction os essential. A romantic lover might agree with the statement "My lover and I have the right physical 'chemistry' between us".

d) Possessive love:

The possessive lover is emotionally intense, jealous, and obsessed with the beloved. The possessive lover is highly dependent on the beloved and therefore fears rejection. he or she might agree that "when my lover doesn't pay attention to me, I feel sick all over".

e) Best friend Love:

sharing and self-disclosure. A best-friend lover is thoughtful, warm, and companionate. he or she might agree that "my most satisfying love relationships have developed from good friendship.

f) Altrusitic love:

The style of love is unconditionally caring, giving, and forgiving. Love means duty to give to the loved on with no strings attached. An altrustic lover might agree that "I cannot be happy unless I place my lover's happiness before my own".

True real love is unconditional and therefore only can be between children and parents.

tell me this if love was unconditional for adults how come some people when looking for a partner, the think he or she has to be good looking , well educated, have a job, must have her/his own money, must have a car, his own place, be single/divorced.separated.widow/widower, must have a good personality, must have a great sense of humour, be tall, slim,be blonde, brunette, red hair/blue/black/green eyes. must have a great social life be interesting and so on.seems to me that there are lots of conditions for love and as i said love should be unconditional which is not in a romantic sense( conclusion ) only the love of good parents/grandparents and family is the only unconditional one that there is in my book the rest if you think about is just list wishes/criterias etc like a shopping list or a customer or contract by conveniences

Would anyone would go for someone that is not good looking tall, slim, has a job, has not home, has not car, has not money ,has not personality, has not sense of humour, has not financial future, not edcuation , friends or social life? i dont think so , i rise my case but that is my on humble opinion and i respect everyone else

I think true love is a combination of pragmatic, romantic, best friend, and altruistic. :) atleast thats what i feel my husband and i have, and we both reject any future that doesnt involve us being 'together forever' <3h

    C.

I actually don't consider myself a romantic (as in all sappy & sentimental) in the slightest but the description under it is definitely me. Chemistry has always been the biggest thing to draw me in.

All my s/o have been E. too

    Women only follow B) Pragmatic

Women's DNA do not permit them to love a man. All their love is saved for children. Only a man can love a woman.

    Men love. Women like.
