why exactly does most of the media have a liberal bias?

People who want a career in finance or business tend to be conservative, people who want a career in the media (both the arts and reporting) the tend to be liberal. There are some famous exception to this for example Ronald Reagan and Warren Buffet but one average it make the media left of center and wall street right of center, but people do not complain about the Conservative bias of wall street and the Right thinks the Liberals there unnatural aberrations so complain about them too

The evidents is stacking up, shouldn't the nation's news media pick up on this and want to know one way or the other about so many discrepancies, such as Obama's birth certificate, Obamas Selective Service record, and why he is using a Social Security card he claims is his own, that was originally issued to someone else?

We all know that if these accusations were made about Bush or Sarah Palin it would be front page news in all news out lets until it was proved one way or the other.

I really don't expect a reasonable answer from the liberals, they will just spout their usual garbage, but what do the rest of you people believe?

This, IMO, is a two-tiered thing. The first part is just normal 'they're all out to get us' crap, because by far the majority of talk radio is radical Conservatism. The second part is far more insidious and has to do with how Conservatives view information and sharing it. The 'Liberal' media in America is the FREE media, the media that actually tells what goes on around us. Conservatives by their very nature dislike and distrust this free dissemination of news and information. They instinctively feel that information should be controlled - even marketed and sold (look at Fox), and only given to the 'worthy'. Look at almost ANY repressive society and you will see Conservatives in charge and the exchange of free information curtailed.

I suggest you try this exercise. Watch a couple of the same news items on different channels. Then do some research, you will find that 9 out of 10 times it will be truthful. If the mainstream news channels get something wrong they almost always report a retraction. My point is that news outlets basically report the truth. But the people that say they have a "liberal bias" are used to getting bogus information from faux news or some suedo-news outlet.

It doesn't . It has a corporate bias. It's corporate-owned, and supports its owners.

Most people in most media have liberal attitudes about things like race and are feminists. That's why conservatives -- who HATE minorities and women -- call the media liberally biased.

How knows for sure... They are what they are. I don't bother with tv news much anymore I read about ten papers a day and sift thru the garbage to find the facts...

So Their Bias means something only if we are not smart enough to see it...

Here is what you won't see... Weekly Lost Jobs Numbers.... These are Obama's Department of Labor Numbers released every Thursday and can be found on Fox and Friends between 8:45 and 9:00 AM. Watch for them yourself if you want to be informed with the only RAW numbers released by the DOL... You won't hear them on any other network... I wonder why?

Numbers released every Thursday is for the Job loss or the week previous.

Lets see, what credentials does someone have to have to "talk and read a script" for a living?

Would those ppl be more logical with advanced technical skill that rely on using mathematics or scientific principles? or would they be more of the "theater/drama club" type ppl that want to be on TV?

Actually, they don't. They are owned by corporations that tend to always want "safe" stories to be told.

Individual reporters are definitely, but the stories they are allowed to tell are fairly Conservative in their nature.

Go read Liberal blogs, and independent news and see the difference.

The main stream media reports actual facts and logical conclusions. It turns out that reality and critical thinking has a liberal bias.
