Stopped taking thyroid meds for 6 days, started back...now what?
Okay, I stopped taking it because well, I got lazy. I called in the meds and kept forgetting to go pick it up. I live in a small town and didn't drive by the pharmacy. It was one of those...I gotta do that today. I noticed yesterday that I was extremely emotional, cried a lot, and am constantly cold (it's 77 in my house right now). So, how long will it take it to work? I know when I first started taking it 14 years ago, it took several weeks to kick in. Will this happen again? Was my body probably totally out of the substance or will it kick in quicker?

You should really see a doctor for an assessment and to receive advice from a professional.
