    Desert Storm is pretty classic and well studied at the operational level.

    The Battle of 73 Easting is a classic example on the tactical level

    The WWII "Battle of the Philippine Sea", or the "Marianas Turkey Shoot", was one of the most decisive and lopsided victories of the war in the Pacific Theatre. The sheer number of Japanese aircraft / trained pilots shot down during this battle effectively sealed Japan's fate, as they no longer had the time to manufacture replacement aircraft or train effective new pilots.
