Processor/Motherboard Help?
Hello, I'm just gonna ask you guys straight up, Can I put any kind of Processor into any kind of motherboard? Let's say I'm gonna put a Athlon II X2 250 into a 775Twins-HDTV. Is it possible?

On a physical level, the pins of the processor have to match the slot of the motherboard. Not all chips and boards match this way. On a more computer level, the processor and the board need to be able to talk to each other. Older chips and newer boards might not have enough of the same instructions in their hardware in order to communicated. Different brands such as Intel and AMD will have both pin matching and instruction issues if you were to try to put them together.
So basically, no, only certain processors will go into certain boards. But I hope I helped with an understanding of why I'd say that.

Im going to tell u striaght up too.U cant put any chip on any motherboard.They got they own slot and specs.
