How is it that I can be active in Answers but when I want to submit an editing of one of my answers, I get the?
. . . screen that says Yahoo Answers isn't available right now? And I've been doing this over a spread of several hours today, and the only thing I can't do is get my editing to one of my answers submitted, and the question is still listed as "Open".
and I even got this question successfully submitted.

Usually that means that the question has been deleted, or you are caught in a programming loop that you have to get yourself out of by copying your answer and then start the answer process over again and paste your copied answer into the answer box. That default message also appears when too many people are posting answers to the same question in very short time periods two to three seconds long. The computer network just can't handle that many re questions a very short (to human beings) time frame, so waiting 10 to 30 seconds and posting your answer again will/may probably work. Yahoo has had some hiccups today already, which is pretty normal for YA.
