Do you secretly wish that cons would suffer a catastrophic illness or injury that their insurance won't cover?

Just to wake them up to the cold-hearted foolishness of their position on health care?

What do you think cons would do if they or a loved one suffered a catastrophic illness or injury that their health insurance refused to cover (because if you have ever had to deal with an health insurance company, you know happens all the time)?

Update:

@Rapeala: calm down. It's a theoretical question asked for reasons other than to confer bad luck.

Update 2:

@Colonel Jack: thank you for your service and response. I think you just nailed the conservative position on health care.

Update 3:

@Cochran: I know you don't get it, but somebody else will. Just sit back and let others do the thinking around here, OK?

Update 4:

@I'm so wasted: what a fatuous load of utter nonsense. Have you ever put you beloved insurance to the test and see exactly what they will pay for ands what they won't? ?Until you do, keep your mouth shut and don't let other knows how extremely foolish you really are.

Update 5:

@crash: "I can pay cash even where my insurance doesn't cover something"

Well, lucky you. I bet you and Mitt Romney have mansions next door to each other and play golf together.

Here's a real life example. My brother in law is an Iraq vet. When he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp., he worked for a vet out-reach program. That job was federally funded and because republicans don't think it is important to fund things like that, he lost his job because their budget was slashed.

He is covered by his vet insurance. He and his wife have three kids and the kids are covered by ACCCHS - which is low income AZ state insurance. However, his wife is not covered because she is an adult.

She has had a difficult fourth pregnancy. The baby was born at 27 weeks. Her parents (my in laws) have had to assume financial responsibility. What kind of bill do you expect they will get when mom and baby are finally discharged from the hospital after three months? High six f

If a health insurance company has decided that you shouldn't be covered, then you are too weak to survive. If you don't respect the decision of the free market, then you hate it and therefore you are a commie. FACT.

It actually happened. Mary Brown, a Florida businesswoman, was a lead plaintiff in one of the current Supreme Court cases. She recently declared bankruptcy which includes several thousands of dollars in unpaid medical bills.

Brown's lawsuit includes the claim that she does not buy health insurance because she cannot afford it (note that this argument would not work with a car insurance company!). Now her medical bills are likely to be forgiven by the court, which means taxpayers are actually paying it.

Brown is currently (March 2012) collecting unemployment and so is covered by state medical insurance-- as required by Obamacare!

Obviously, you have no clue why they are fighting. Freedom given up cannot be obtained again you moron. Republicans had a plan, they want to revamp medicare and cover the 30 million Americans without healthcare under the new plan. Obama didn't want to hear it though. He wanted to overhaul the entire system which cost Americans 1.8 trillion dollars. You do realize there will be no way to fund this program for a long time after it goes into affect right? And you do realize you cannot force people or penalize them if they do not want to purchase it right? Go read the 28th amendment sometime, or the constitution in general you might learn something.

  • Obama Care

good news- Health Insurance for everyone

bad news- no job, food, car or house cause everything is going to support Obama Care

One day maybe Libs will learn to love what is GOOD for the US instead of always supporting ideas and people that destroy it

Almost as much as I wish somebody would break into your house and steal everything you own. Just to wake you up to the mindless greed of your demands that other people should give up what they've worked for so you can have whatever you want.

My mother died a few years of stage 4 lung cancer. Once she figured out she had it, the doctors told her that she had 3 months to live. She didnt last that long, but she still wanted to fight it and had chemo and all that stuff. I highly doubt that Obamacare would have covered those services once the doctor had already written her off for 3 months. If you believe that it does, you need to reevaluate your opinion on universal healthcare. So those that fight on and have made it, you are telling them that they should just die because the doctor told them that they would? yeah its unlikely but some people do live decades more than the doctor tells them. You tell them people that they should just die and have obamacare!!!!

I don't wish it... but it seems like fate has a funny way of exposing people to the realities of life...

I know a few who found out the hard way...

He's asking a question, not saying he believes this himself. Calm down, people.

No. Even though I'm a blood thirsty liberal, I don't wish for those with opposing viewpoints to, well, die.

If you are a Liberal and you are worried about this, now is the time to get insurance. Don't wait until this happens to you then go on a hate rampage about not being able to get coverage.

I am currently recovering from surgery for cancer. My insurance coverned most of it and I was able to arrange payments for the rest. Why do you think the system needs such drastic change?
