    Cold War

JFK faced down Khrushchev in the Caribbean. LBJ botched the Vietnam War.

    New Frontier

The "New Frontier" created jobs and hope. The "Great Society" institutionalized an underclass of poverty stricken failures who would rather beg for government support then get a job.

    Civil Rights

The Civil Rights programs LBJ passed were all started by JFK.

    Domestic Issues

Johnson was further left then Kennedy.

    Cuban Missile Crisis

This was Kennedy's one bright and shining moment, and his alone.

    Vietnam

Both presidents botched their attempts to deal with Southeast Asia. Kennedy thought he could control Diem like a puppet, and had him overthrown when he refused to do what Kennedy told him to do. JFK's blunder left LBJ with an international problem that Johnson was simply NOT capable of figuring out. He finally decided to throw a few troops at the problem in the hopes it would go away. But he sent less then half the number the military told him would be needed to pacify the country, and ordered them to do it in about a quarter of the time it would actually take. When he did not get his way he panicked and tried to bail out by surrendering to Hanoi.

    Personalities

No contest. JFK was the charismatic poster-boy of the liberal medias. LBJ was a thug who browbeat the Congress into accepting his planes for a Great Society and publicly botched the Vietnam War.

JFK revolutionized the Civil Rights movement: Civil Rights Act of 1964; Voting Rights Act of 1965; Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas

JFK performed perfectly in the Cuban Missile Crisis: He stood his ground by placing a naval blockade around Cuba. When Russia sent 12 ships towards Cuba, JKF warned that he was ready to drop nukes.

That's all I got for now. It probably didn't help but whatever. JFK> LBJ.

Oh yeah, LBJ killed JFK. Perhaps you could include that.
