Professional Wrestling event in Florida last weekend, what was it?
My company just laid off some people. A relatively recent employee was NOT laid off, but he took last weekend off supposedly for Air National Guard training. One of my co-workers told me this guy was seen on TV in the front row at a wrestling event, and that the guy was twittering about it and was posting on youtube....as in people are getting laid off and he is lying to get free vacation...IF it is true.
I am trying to track it down, what big wrestling event would have happened March 29-April 2 in Florida?
it was most likely wrestlemania 28...does anyone have any links to youtubes of some of the matches where I might be able to see into the crowd?

What big wrestling events would have happened March 29-April 2 in Florida? There were a lot of Wrestling Events that took place in that timeframe, here are a few:
1) March 29-April 2, 2012 WWE opened a Wrestlemania Superstore at SunLife Stadium with Wrestlemania Merchandise, WWE Wrestlers Merchandise, WWE Throwback Merchandise and a New WWE Product Line:
2) Combat Zone Wrestling and Dragon Gate USA did a Supershow in Hollywood, Florida with Matches from both Wrestling Promotions.
3) NWA Ring Warriors had a Major Show in The Miami Area and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pierce defended The NWA World Heavyweight Title against Ring of Honor Wrestler Adam Cole. A lot of Legendary Wrestlers, Hall of Famers and Current Wrestlers were there.
4) There were at least 2 Independent Wrestling Shows that took place in The Miami Area, one on Thursday and one on Friday.
5) Wrestlemania Axxess Sessions took place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
6) Ring of Honor ran shows Friday and Saturday at The War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
7) Dragon Gate USA ran shows Friday and Saturday at Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Florida.
8) Wrestle Reunion took place on Saturday and Sunday at Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach, Florida and a lot of NWA Wrestlers, WCW Wrestlers, WWF Wrestlers and TNA Wrestlers were there.
9) The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place that Saturday at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
10) Wresltemania XXVIII took place that Sunday at SunLife Stadium in Miami., Florida. The annouced attendance was 78,363 was a new record for SunLife Stadium.
11) WWE Monday Night Raw took place on Monday, April 2, 2012 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
Keep in mind that I left out The Huge Wrestling Party that Kevin Nash, X-Pac and a few other Wrestlers threw, The Tribiute to Championship Wrestling in Florida, The Art Auction, The Golf Tournament, The Fashion Show and a bunch of other events that took place.

WrestleMania 28 was April 1. Both were in Miami.
