A few questions regarding new 6 week old kitten?

I got a 6 week old, male kitten yesterday. Anyways, I'm awake at 5:39 because he was meowing so i spent a little time with him. I noticed he hasn't really been eating much. The girl who I got him from said he didn't like the dry food, so I only left a little out for him (kitten chow). And when I woke up early to check on him I gave him a little bit of canned, but he did not touch it.

My questions are:

Why was he continually crying? What should I do next time?

I have another female cat, she is about 6 years. They are in separated areas, but I think my cat is becoming aware that there is a kitten in the house because of the meowing. How do I introduce them? How long should I wait?

I noticed he hasn't been using the litter box he just rolls around in it. But I haven't found any messes. My mom is making his first vet appointment next week.

What else should I know?

Thanks.

you do get tired first, leaving food available, with the big one now begins, slowly so that you do not often see a lot of time to be alone, put a damp smell of the cat so that he gets used

Due to the fact of your 6 week old kitten u r acsually being quite nasty to him no offence I'm not trying to be rude at all but this isn't right something's fishy first of all its addictive to its mum at least 2 months ok? Second of all u say it cries well there is no possible reasons except he is either missing his family OR he doesn't like the place he's living in get the point?? I've got two cats one is 1 week old and the other is 1 year but I can keep the kitten cause it's mum is belonging to the house I am in! So therefore I am allowed to keep the male kitten because the female( the mum ) allows me plea were living together but u just got it without its parents And siblings I don't know what idiot gave u the kitten but all I know it is common for cats in that age to be suffering like that and no body takes a 6 week old kitten from its parents and the food thing u said is because ur kitten is tiny and it STILL DRINKS MILK therefore how on earth do u expect a kitten like that eat normal adult good just like ur otheR cat???? It is very rare for cats to be on a certain age to stop drinking milk u will find out wen it stops by the way if there's no way at all u can give the kitten back then u should buy one of these stuff they give milk in wich is purposely made for baby kitty's to drink from they use that because sometimes the mum rejects giving milk to the baby kitten for that reason they buy those stuff with their own special milk to give in milk with!!! Plus my kitten is 2 months old it's STILL drinking milk! Jus keep that in mind in case and due to ur other question ur kitten is also tooo small to start going in its litter tray!! It needs to be taught by its mum how to waste in the litter tray so I recommend u take that POOR kitten back to its place and take it wait

At least after 3 months my kitten is 2 months old and my friend wants it and I'm giving her when it's 3 months old ok? So u do the same and take it BACK and take it when it is done with its practicing and learning and then it should be fine to take it to ur home!!!

TAKE THE POOR KITTEN BACK TO ITS MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is WAY too young to be away from its mother and siblings.

If you don't take it back immediately, trust me, it will die.

You can take the kitten home in 5-6 weeks, but no earlier.

You're complaining about the kitten not knowing what to do with cat food or not being able to use the litter box?

    Well, how could it?

Kittens start to eat tiny bits at approximately 7-8 weeks and their mother teaches them social and litter box skills at 10-12 weeks.

Take the poor thing back right this instant!

If it doesn't have a mother, a knowledgeable adult who has done this before will have to bottle feed it.

A bottle every 1-2 hours, even at night, can be exhausting for your parents especially since I take it they have no knowledge on this subject, so I suggest giving it to a professional or vet until it's old enough to feed on its own.

A kitten could attain his adult weight/top at about a million 12 months previous. My cat is extremely petrified of heights, so she hasn't ever develop into gentle with jumping better distances. Your kitten could extremely devour a extreme high quality kitten foodstuff till she is a 12 months previous. Kitten ingredients are better in nutrition than cat foodstuff. It wont harm her to devour some adult foodstuff alongside with the kitten foodstuff, besides the undeniable fact that it would want to not be the numerous source of her weight-relief plan. it isn't unusual for cats that were taken faraway from their moms too early to be timid. My cat is amazingly social, yet she replaced into dealt with plenty in her kids. it really is going to easily take time, she remains youthful. We once had a cat on the medical institution are available in even as a pair teeth torn out of her mouth after chewing on a plastic bag. not extremely constructive how that befell, besides the undeniable fact that that is what the owner reported. the luggage is a demonstration of desirous to play, i do not study the stickers.
