Do you agree that it was in very poor taste and racist for ERic Holder to congratulate?

that fool al Sharpton on his part in the Tryvon Martin case. Does anyone have any opinions why Sharpton never comes forward on any case where blacks have killed or robbed white people. Is he racist and if so should he be just discounted when making any opinion.?

Update:

Drucilla, no link, saw it on tv....and by the way, were you there.. do you know that Sharptons accusations are correct... aren't you just as bad as he is with the rush to judgement thing?

Ever heard of innocent until PROVED guilty... ?

Update 2:

Darcy... if Sharpton is a " good" man.. then God help us to meet a bad one. He is a racist from the word go.

how often do you see him getting excited about a black on white crime.. when does he ever march for a poor white kid beaten to death by black youths.. that's called racism, my dear.

Update 3:

Sean.. I am addressing this as a race issue because the black community immediately made it a race issue.. Sharpton called it that.. the prosecutor hinted at that.. and even that idiot Holder intimates it is that.

I wish it could be just another crime, as awful as that sounds.. but you know as well as I, that whenever there is a white on black crime , racism is brought up immediately.. not so for a black on white crime!

Holder showed very poor judgment, but then he too is a racist! So what do we expect?

Rev SHARPTON is a good man and is a civil rights activist

the country would not have heard about this case.if not for him...would be just another kid shoot and no one cared....his father knew what to do and glad he did

this case has shown how bad it is out there and I learned a few things..found out parents of black boys tell them never to run in public, always keep hands on wheel when stopped , always say yes sir to any cop and never look at white...this is the year 2012.

this case has also made country aware of guns laws the NRA and ALEC have pushed to get republicans to sign into law....see a sharp rise of defense deaths...how many have been like this case and was pushed aside and ignored

a racist is someone who truly believes they are better than another based on color of skin and some truly believe if come close will rub off...

the country is racist and very very ugly....deal with it

Eric Holder said that I believe as his protests have brought this case to the countries attention

    no more no less

Holder can barely contain his radicalism. Sharpton has done nothing but inflame the situation, and has probably deprived Zimmerman of any hope of a free trial. Holder should have, at the very least, politely ask that sharp ton go home.

Your question itself maintains the tenor of racism since you are addressing something as a 'black/white' issue. Does that mean we should discount your question? Whatever the motivation for doing a thing, it is the action and the result that should be counted. Are there implications for imparting congratulations? No. Move on to something that matters.
