Anything special about 1992 D & 1983 D pennies?
As part of dispersing my Grandmother's estate, I have been charged with dealing with her coin & bill "collection". Aside from a couple of uncirculated Carson City silver dollars I haven't found anything with much collector value.
In the safe were a couple of bags of sorted pennies - one of 1992 D's and one of 1983 D's. The 1992's appear to be uncirculated near-mint, but other than that I see nothing special about them whatsoever. Am I missing something? Is there anything special about those coins that would explain her keeping them?

probably not worth the time
Just take to bank - cash in. Settle the Estate.

Ask this over in the Hobbies section.
A coin collector will be more able to help you than a Historian.
The 1983D MIGHT be the last totally copper coin, but there are still millions of those in circulation.
The 1992D, uncirculated, is selling for about $2.36
