1. Both are simplest forms of fats/lipids. Glycerol is a simple three-carbon molecule with a hydroxyl group on each carbon. Unlike glycerol, fatty acids are complex molecules that vary in length from four to 28 carbons long and can contain one or more double bonds

2. No. Buccal cavity is not mouth. Buccal cavity is behind the mouth or mouth leads into buccal cavity. Inside the buccal cavity lies teeth and tongue.
3. Pepsin is a digestive enzyme. It is an activated form of pepsinogen. This enzyme digests proteins into peptides.
My fellow answerers, mentioned that buccal cavity is mouth. See mouth is formed by two lips and mouth leads into a small room called buccal chamber where teeth, tongue and salivary glands are present.

Glycerol molecules are the simplest, and they form the backbone of fatty acid molecules.
Yes, the buccal cavity is the mouth
Pepsin is a protease enzyme found in the stomach. It needs a very acidic pH to work, which is why the stomach is so acidic. It breaks down proteins into amino acids.

1) glycerol and fatty acids are the basic units of fats. fatty acids form fats later on, but glycerol molecule yields energy just like glucose.
2) yes, buccal cavity is the mouth
3) pepsin is an enzyme produced in the stomach. it acts on proteins and converts them into amino acids (basic units of proteins) so that it may easily diffuse into the bloodstream.

1.glycerol-A colorless, odorless, viscous metabolic intermediate and structural component of the major classes of biological lipids, triglycerides and phosphatidyl phospholipids.
fatty acids-long chain organic acid with a carboxyl group.
glycerol is the simplest form.
2.ya buccal cavity is the mouth
3. pepsin is an enzyme present in the stomach. it acts on food proteins and degrades them into peptides.
all d best:)
