so what do you think of China warning the USA about wargames in S. China sea?

I was reading in yahoo news that china was warning the US about our war games with the Philippines in the South China sea. Is it more posturing or do you think their military is taking advantage of their succession discussions or am I worrying over nothing or what?

Its no big deal. Many countries always are sending warnings back and fourth. USA warns Iran, North Korea warns South Korea, China warns USA, it seems like just a few days ago i heard about some country warning China.

Most of these countries, especially China really dont want a war. Think of it this way. Who is Chinas biggest customer-trading partner? The United States. Now, if a war broke out between the two all of those products that China imports into the USA that we buy, IPADs and the such would be cut off. This would cripple Chinas economy.

I think China has no right to be warning anyone. Did you read the news yesterday? China helped North Korea launch that missile. They signed a treaty years ago, along with the US and other countries in the UN, on ''not'' doing these things. China is the one playing war games here.

    It's just more posturing.

The US owes China over $1 trillion in debt.

The Chinese economy is dependent on US markets.

China can't back up it's rhetoric without committing economic suicide.

    Which is why China won't.

Without any links it's difficult to comment on it. But South China Sea is a disputed property; but China makes claim to own the waters and tells everyone passing by to stay away!

China HAS encroached Land (Tibet) and Waters. Aggression is nothing new to China.

I believe it is political posturing. China can warn all it wants, but, when push comes to shove, China recognizes the military power of the U.S.

particular and No. they might warn us. yet, do they honestly need to order us around. while plenty of their investments are at stake, the two out and in of Pakistan. Do they actually think of that they might administration the tip bring about Pakistan. Pakistan has been well-known to tutor-flop on the themes to hand, each each now and then interior of an hour. Pakistan is the proverbial fence straddler in that section.

The Chinks can warn and protest as much as they want - but when push comes to shove - they know it isn't wise to mess with the US.

They might well 'own' a lot of US paper debts - but Uncle Sam has the heavier artillery and fire-power.

If you look at it from the other side. China is militarily encircled by the US. Imagine if China did that to the US, can you imagine the reaction of Americans?

Unless the Chinese want their a$$ handed to them they had best leave the U.S. Navy alone. Those are international waters and we can do whatever the hell we feel like doing there as far a maneuvers or war games go.
