What safety regulations are available to protect wrestlers from injuries?

If wrestlers perform moves that are very dangerous and they are injured the wrestler's career could be finished .

There was a wrestler who did a move and it went wrong and he suffered a concussion .

The concussion caused him to end his career and he struggles to support his family and a child with disabilities

Well for a sport of this dangerous magnitude, you'd be surprised how less of an initiative is taken into attending the injuries, long-term ones.

Yes wrestling promotions do pay for free medi-care, first aid, ambulance, hospital reservations etc but Wrestles DO NOT get health insurance from the company, they need to provide it themselves. Which is a real pain because injuries are possible anytime. Such is that if a wrestler dies at work, like Owen Hart, the promotion might pay a valid amount of money to recompensate the damages.

All in all, its a risky business. The best is to pray that one does not end up in a state that makes them use their heath insurance.

Well, firstly, they MUST make sure that they work on the moves they use and make sure they know how to do them safely, thats the first and MOST important thing they must do.

Then, if it's a spot like Shane jumping from 50 feet onto Big Show, the company will take all the needed precautions to make sure it's as safe as possible for the guy doing it by talking to legit stunt men and other safety advisors.

The guy whos taking the hit is ALSO there to break the fall and stuff and assist in any big move to make sure they land and easily as possible.

Also, the ring is padded slightly to help the guys feel less pain from big bumps.

And finally, HOPE and PRAY that a move doesn't get botched. Mistakes are easy to make in wrestling and if you botch, you got no one to blame but yourself and you can kill someone potentially. All big spots will have risk assesments and the wrestlers involved will have final say over weather or not they actually do it so it's all on them. They know what they're getting into before they do it so anything goes wrong, the blame is on them unless it's a freak equipment malfunction then there's really no one to blame as it was an accident. (Owen hart was a different case though before i get jumped on. The equipment used wasn;t safe to use as WWE were told by every stunt man they went to except for one that said he'd use the rig that they went with, but hopefully, we NEVER see a tragedy of that magnitude in wrestling again. R.I.P Owen).
