If I eat too much one day, can I only eat one meal the next?
Today I ate sooooooooooo much. I had a Kiwi Fruit, 3 bowls of homemade vegetable soup, and because I went out with my friends and then to the movies, subway 6 inch- roasted chicken no cheese, 2 cups of coke which were small and 2 of these pineapple chocolate things (they were only tiny, probably half the size of a minature milky bar of mars bar that you get in those kids packets, my friend gave me two from a big packet). Because I ate so much food and a lot of it was unhealthy can I eat only one healthy meal tomorrow and then after that continue on as normal. Because I have uni I haven't been able to exercise much, I just dance around intensely lol for ten minutes a day inbetween uni work and go for a 40 minute walk at a fast pace. If I can't just not eat anything tomorrow, how much more exercise should I do. I feel heaps guilty.

simply starving for 1 day after a binge is never a good idea and ur body cant be normal as it was before binge. If ur feeling guilty u can just switchover to fruits / lo carb diet for atleast a week and increase exercise routine in this way u may burn ur extra calories without affecting normal functioning of ur body

Starvation merely leads to your metabolism slowing down which in turn affects your body and the ability to break down fats etc (in basic terms)...1 day of eating too much will not send your entire body in a downward spiral..regain control by focusing on clean eating and a good workout regime. By doing this you will not shock your body into phases of bingeing and starvation which will just send all the systems on high alert. If you are younger than 30 you are still safe, but if you do not adopt healthy lifestyle routines now by the age of 30 your hormones start reshuffling and you end up with a slow metabolism (due to periods of extremem dieting, one meal a day type dieting, and bingeing -as in yo-yo dieting) and then your body has very little ability to break down foods properly and process everything, so often enough a woman just starts putting on weight. Please don't fall into that trap already, look after your body by eating healthily and on the days that you do go a little overboard (which only happen after you;ve dieted or starved yourself) rather focus on getting yourself together again and cleaning up your eating and having a good solid workout routine to follow! Good luck and healthy living.

you didnt eat thatt much goshh if im getting it right, a kiwi, vegetable soap, a sandwitch, 2 pineapple chocolate things.......thats not enought to eat in a day..... but anyway no its isnt ok eating 1 meal a day will slow down your metabolic rate therefor your body will store all the fat from that one meal. just eat normal we all have a day when we ove eat and go over the top well some of us anyway but just eat normal the next day, a good breakfast, snack if u want it, a good lunch, another snack if u want, and a good dinner, and i dessert if you want. chill outt it dont matterrr.
