Is pain in side of throat sore muscle due to coughing?
About 4 weeks ago I caught a sore throat virus that turned into a cough, mostly thickly, tiny bit chesty. I still have the cough which is making a very slight daily improvement but in the last hour or so I have developed a pain in the side of my throat up under my jaw when I swallow and cough, could this be a pulled/strained muscle due to coughing
That is mostly tickly, tiny bit chesty
Had a swollen gland a couple of weeks ago which I could feel, like a marble, but can't feel that anymore

Sounds like a swollen lymph node: it will go away soon. Don't worry!
