What brand/style of chip-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe plates do you recommend?

Location - USA (Chicago)

I'm going to try this one more time. If you don't have a specific answer to the posed question, please refrain from answering. I'm looking for only serious answers.

By microwave safe, I do mean that the plate is designed (or comprised of materials) that don't burn your hand upon each removal from the microwave. LOL.

(That is stated in joking manner. I do understand that heat-resistant gloves, pot holders, and towels can be used to avoid the issue. However, some materials retain less heat than others. It's sad that I have to clarify everything on this site.) Also, the chip-resistant aspect is particularly important.

Thanks!

Update:

i.e. everyday sturdy dinnerware plates

Update 2:

Glen, that is understood. Thanks.

Corelle, as since they are Chip and Break Resistant. They heat where the food is and I never have to use the pot holders to take them out of the microwave. The edges stay cool.

Corelle has worked for me for years. I only have bowls left from earlier times. Now I use some dishes I bought on ebay that are bone china, but dishwasher and microwave safe. The brand is "American Atelier" but they are made in China. The cups I use are from Ikea. This sounds like a mess, but people think it's a set.

I've been using 'Corningware" dishes for the last 17 years. I always use them in the microwave for re-heating and such. (great when you set your coffee down and it gets cold) As far as getting hot, they do get warm to the touch depending on how long you put it in for. I don't think any material will be cool handling since it will draw some heat from the food. Do some research on this and see if it's what you are looking for.

depends on the type of microwave the older ones no because the have a high tempearte and the can over heat faster, but the new ones yes just make sure there is no metal or even made out of potterty because if that heats up you could have a problem.

  • Not to disrupt your quest with unspecific lingo, I present a missing element of probable disfunction.

Marring .... Stoneware can produce streaks from silverware. Also the word "resistant" is exactly that.

I personal use stoneware dishes or fancy paper-plates .
