What is a Dissertation Viva?

My dissertation's in for tomorrow. Can anyone tell me what a dissertation viva is?

Its under the heading of data analysis, discussions and conclusions.

I've got to give a presentation on my findings in 2 weeks, could that be it? I've googled it and not found the answer i'm looking for, thanks!

Also this is in the UK, for a double dissertation for a bsc hons degree, thankyouy

    A viva is an oral exam. It is done largely to verify that the work is your own and that you are capable of explaining and defending it.
