As to why, I believe it is because although they will claim to believe IN God,

very few of them actually BELIEVE God - there is a great difference . . .

I am old enough to be your father, and do not find sex embarrasing

but the age that some start does surprise me a little.

Two sibling grand-children were recently discovered having full intercourse

and I questioned whether they should still live in the same home

seeing as it is virtually impossible to supervise a 9 and a 10 y o all the time.

I asked the boy a few months later, and he said he still plays moms & dads.

Hi Tea Witch, Have missed you. I have several possible reasons for the lack of discretion you ask about. The first is because they can and seem to believe that the internet is an anonymous media where you can say anything and not be held responsible or accountable for what your opinion.

They may have been never taught about privacy or appropriateness.

Perhaps they are perverts and have no other way to express themselves

Could be they are simply uneducated bores.

It is totally beyond by understanding. I like you believe that what goes on that is referred to as Adult sexuality, it private. It has nothing to do with my religion & have been divorced over 40 years. There are some things that are just not a public matter and to attempt to discuss those things publicly is rude, disrespectful and boorish not only to those who might read the drivel but to themselves.

So I would say those who have the need to be that open have little respect for themselves or anyone else and we cannot expect more from them. Personally I tend to report that which I find too distasteful or disrespectful.

I have found that the less a person has to add to a discussion the more they say .

Somehow quantity and rudeness make up for having nothing to add .

Everywhere you look the media , movies , and advertisers just sell sex . It takes a strong , involved parent to just let kids be kids . They grow up way to fast as it is .

I think that most of the ones doing this are probably 10 to 15 year olds. The're not supposed to on here under 13, but how can they control that?

why do we assume children need to be protected from everything? they're a lot more aware and resilient than they get credit for. i believe sex should be discussed openly. children need to understand what it is to protect them from predators. all the shame we surround it with only makes it seem dirty, which it should not be.

there are aspects of it that should remain private. nobody needs to know the intimate details of anybody's sex life. but shrouding it in shame and mystery has led to the unhealthy attitude society has about it, and leaves children vulnerable not only to predators but to innocent mistakes as they begin to understand their bodies.
