L.A traffic question?

I"m leaving from Riverside at 4 today and going to Santa Monica. Mapquest says it take 90 minutes to get there. I'm taking the 60 west to the 10 west. How long should it really take me since I'm leaving at 4 pm today? Thank you for your help

I'm from Riverside too and I would definitely know this.

I actually come from Perris area and I drive from the 10 often to go to Pasadena.

From my house to Pasadena takes about 2 hours. Pasadena to Santa Monica takes another hour.

So, add traffic time and I would say you should arrive to your destination around 7:30-8.

    Hope I helped.

I agree with Megan. And unfortunately there are not any viable alternate routes. There are, but they would be longer in distance and time to travel. I would do anything to stay out of the downtown LA area. Just make sure that you have a full tank of fuel.

    All the best.
