Did you know we have to pay 3.8% tax to the Feds if we sell our homes for Obama Care?

If you own a home, Please read this.

The National Association of REALTORS is all over this and working to get it repealed, before it takes effect. But, I am very pleased we aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from unsuspecting homeowners. How many REALTORS do you think will vote Democratic in 2012?

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill and goes into effect in 2013.

Why 2013? Could it be to come to light AFTER the 2012 elections? So, this is "change you can believe in"? Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax. If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax.

This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November and 2012 vote more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the Obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either

VOTERS NEED TO KNOW .

Update:

Sorry about the lines that is how it came out. this is on the capital gains which not many people have but bottom line is they are still finding out how aweful it is. I called both my senators and they do know about it and yes it is so. I called a broker.

Obama sucks and this went into effect in 2010. Any liberal here that doesnt get it is to thick and stupid and probably on entitlements

Yes, I feel I can. I can't nevertheless manage to pay for 7 houses, and an incapability to even know the way many houses I possess. I can't manage to pay for to face via and watch the rich get the entire breaks even as the traditional Joe does not even understand what having a retirement fund is like. I have one, and I'm very, very, lucky, a few of the core and cut down elegance would possibly not be touched via the ones funding taxes, they cannot manage to pay for to are living, permit on my own make investments. In the top our vote does not even topic, we are screwed.

The scary part of your post is "more than a few members of Congress aren't aware either" but if this is true it does not surprise me. They have no way to pay for these programs besides taxes.

I think the Court will take most or all of it away. If Obama is re-elected he will have his work cut out for him.

Obama should start from scratch on Universal health care. Hillary could change jobs to start work on this.

Read the article again. It says on income, not proceeds. Big, big, difference. Home owners don't have a problem because of the sale of personal home exclusion.

I would also like to see a better source than a conservative and very biased blog.

Is there any reason you need to leave so many blank lines in your 'question'?

You need to do some fact checking.
