Can anyone help me with the value on this vehicle?
My relative has a 1969 Ford Shelby GT-500 (429 Cubic inch engine) with 17K miles in mint condition and everything original. It sits on blocks and the original tires are even dry rotting. It sits covered in his garage and he's too old and ill to ever take it out again. I saw a GT 350 that went for alot of money at an auction and it was not near the condition his car was. Are these vehicles worth alot in today's economy?
I appreciate any help.

If you can prove it's original, numbers matching, and in great shape, these cars are fetching serious money...don't believe the Barrett-Jackson Auction type prices though...I think they pipe crack smoke into the tents to get some of the ridiculous prices they get..value guids Kelley Blue Book and the like are also not accurate
