Fullmetal alchemist v fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood?

Both are good.

It's that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the manga storyline. There are a few differences between this one and the manga still but it still has the same characters and story.

Fullmetal Alchemist was made when the manga was still being developed, so this one had a different story in it. Some characters in the manga aren't in the original version and the original anime has different characters that were never in the manga. So the original anime is more of an alternate FMA universe.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa is the movie that ends the original anime since it shows what happens after the anime.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Sacred Star of Milos is the movie based off of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood but is non-canon since it has new characters in it. This is the most recent media form to come out for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Watch fullmetal alchemist first. It is the anime not the manga but then watch brotherhood witch is based off the manga. You have to watch fma first though because it gets more indeath with some characters that are more condenced in brotherhood because they entend for brotherhood to be for viewers of the first series

I've seen both, and both are really good. Brotherhood follows the manga, and the other doesn't. The first one also ends with the movie FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa.

well honestly i watched both and they are both equally good! I suggest watching the original first because it's ... well the original then you can watch the brotherhood one. (they have different endings and characters but the brotherhood one is like the manga.)

BTW dont watch the movie that comes with the original FMA because its severely disappointing

brotherhood is better because it follows the manga, the first one has a filler ending and a lot is changed.
