Even so, this adjustments today because the test findings are available really quickly.
The first symptoms of strep throat infection might be different but you will discover not one but two signs which appear in almost all instances: a fever and sore throat. Some swallowing troubles and complications could be encountered by the afflicted person and this affliction worsens. A visible look of the throat at this point will demonstrate that it truly is reddish and inflamed; there are white-colored or yellow-colored pus over the tonsils or at the back of the throat. There is also an unpleasant smell from the throat in scenarios similar to this.

Like the others said, it is dangerous regardless of being pregnant and needs to be treated. I had it once about 6 years ago and thought it was just a sore throat since I didn't know the symptoms. It went away on it's own after 2 weeks but I was told I was very lucky. Take care of yourself and the baby. Best of luck and hope you feel better soon!

Strep throat is a bacterial infection and if left untreated the infection can spread to other areas including your baby. You should go to a doctor asap.

If left untreated it can lead to scarlet fever, and possibly harm the baby. Go get it treated. A week of antibiotics will not arm your baby.
