Should High school libraries have the Quar'an on hand?

In my senior year of high school we read parts of the bible for its impact on modern american influences and it was fun. I am a believer, but I am pretty open minded, and while in the school library looking at all the different bibles there were we had I was impressed. Then I remembered I wanted to read the Quar'an and so I asked for a copy. I knew we HAD to have them, I honestly didn't think the answer would be no. I laughed and mentioned later to friends how we have mein kampf in our library and the bible but not this.

So I don't know if there is an issue with Islam having the Quar'an used like this, but it just seems wrong NOT to have other religious texts on hand. And if you don't think in public school libraries, what about just plain public libraries? Why or why not?

    Not necessarily.

High Schools are more rigorously policed for suitable library books (suitable for the approval of the majority of locals). Colleges/Universities have a much broader field of study - like Comparative Religions. So you'd be able to find the Christian Bible, a Jewish Torah, a Muslim Quran, Hindu Texts, Confucius, and so on.

His decision replace into apparently biased. All 10 scholars might desire to assume the comparable scientific care. the subject might in all threat no longer have got here approximately if the "protection" component of the college campus have been one hundred% useful...an administrative glitch. those scholars might have trespassed and led to slightly greater paintings for the kitchen team here morning, yet no actual harm replace into completed. The significant's ego desires some adjusting; i think of he feels humiliated. a suitable decision punishment could have been asking for the ten scholars write a letter to the interior reach newspaper, admitting to the prank and explaining how movements inclusive of their's are and may well be perceived via others - certainly and negatively. Then, the ten scholars might desire to have all graduated which comprise their class. Turning his lower back on scholars whilst they picked-up their diplomas?...an extremely infantile prank!

Well Christian lobby groups like ACT for America, who are known for their hatred of Islam and Muslims do EVERYTHING it takes to make sure Islam is not visible. I wouldn't be surprised if they're the ones behind banning Qurans from schools, they're very well known for stuff like that.

As per islam muslims must continue deliver the message of islam to all humanity, therefore Quran must be availble everywhere.

Prophet saas wrote verses of Quran in the letters addressed to nonmuslim kings all around arabia and invited them to islam.

    Thanks for the reminder.
