Can vibration damage my desktop computer?

The road is being resurfaced around my neighborhood... the vibrations are intense, will this cause damage to a normal (tower) desktop PC? I've noticed that the internet keeps getting knocked out while it vibrates - is this just a coincidence?

Thank you.

Update:

The period of vibration is around 60 seconds followed by a 30 second cease in activity, in case you were wondering.

Update 2:

Rock, that wasn't too helpful... I could not spot any of the links you stated were present, and bit.ly went as far as flagging the link (I felt secure enough to procede anyway.) Next time, please post the answer in brief (yes or no) instead of giving out links without really explaining how they'll help me.

i think of you have no issues, as long as you do no longer take the tower out of the field and positioned it on the bumper... of direction, there is often a danger that some thing might desire to be broken, notwithstanding that's amazingly low. in case you're unclear approximately it, attempt asking your shop to transport it for you, or deliver it with a courier provider...

A hard disc can be damaged by this sort of shock, if severe enough.
