I've Been Working on Something. Some opinions?

I've been working on this story called The River Killer. Basically, it takes place near Corvallis, Oregon, in the year 1996. There's a man going around, picking up blonde women with golden brown eyes and a slim figure, keeping them for a few days, then dropping their bodies off at Battle Creek.

One Erickah Chamberlain decides to help the police out, being how she is his type. Even though she works at the local grocery store and can't be older than his own daughter (17) Sheriff Washburn gives the go ahead.

The day before she is supposed to be River bait, she is helping an older man get the bags into his car, when everything goes wrong.

Here it is:

__________

"Everything is about to change, my baby grr," he rasped as he curled his gnarled finger into her silky, blonde hair. "Everything."

A broken sob passed her parted lips; "why?"

His deep green eyes were the only beautiful thing about him, nevermind the fact that they were full of hatred and anger. Even then, they drew her golden gaze, even as she was trembling in fear and clenching her teeth together to keep from uttering anything else.

"Because, I want it too," he murmured, letting her hair fall to her face as he stood up and started pacing. "I need it too."

Abruptly, he stopped and faced her again. He hesitated, then walked to her and sunk back to his knees. He grabbed her clammy hand harshly with his left hand; he used his free hand to force her to look at his aged face.

“Look at me,” he almost begged, his insanity shinning through.

She gulped before obliging him. He was scary when he was angry, as she had come to realize. And, Erickah would be damned if she were to give him another reason to hurt her.

“Sammy, I’ll make everything alright again. I promise you. You will forgive me.” He said. “My lovely baby grr, you’ll come to realize that I never meant for any of this.”

“I’m not Sammy,” she whispered under her breath.

His eyes flashed. “What was that? Speak up!”

“I said I’m sorry, Daddy,” she whimpered as his hand tightened on her chin.

“What did I tell you about apologizing?” He spat as he un-grasped her chin and hand, standing up quickly.

“That it’s a sign of weakness.” She replied without hesitation.

He had held her there for three long days; she had grown used to his dementia. A strange old man in need of help loading his groceries into his van turned out to be certifiably insane.

There had been someone else in the car. It was too quick for her to comprehend, but the next thing Erickah knew, she was waking up, tied to a chair, and forced to play into his illusions, or face a possible death sentence.

He was The River Killer.

__________

So, a few questions, if you wouldn't mind?

1. Honest opinion? Great, okay, horrible?

2. Would you keep reading if this was the first page?

3. Anything that needs fixed or edited?

4. Anything else? Comments? Questions?

Please and thank you! :D

I really like the style of writing u do.

My only advice is to write more at the end, if add something like this.

There had been someone else in the car. It was too quick for her to comprehend.(Have someone knock her out so hard she cant feel a second of being hit. Why did she blackout I'd like to know) she felt someone hit her hard in the back of the head. The pain lingered on as her vision double vision blurred to darkness and she fell into unconsciousness.

Ericah tasted blood in her mouth. She sat up but couldn't move, she was tied to a chair, and forced to play into his illusions, or face a possible death sentence.

    He was The River Killer.
