Rights cannot be abridged.

As has happened in many countries.

Courts and social institutions will be pressured, under threat of law, to allow homosexuals to have equal access to children.

Speaking out against the practice will be seen as hate speech

That is a crime in many european countries. In Canada ministers are in jail for refusal to marry homosexuals

Boy scouts will cease to exist.

Churches will be sued for not hiring them or ordaining homosexual ministers

I have many other concerns because changing the definition of a word, also changes the meaning and content of every law and contract in which the term "marriage" is used.

the only problem i can foresee is lawsuits against clergy for discrimination (not performing gay marriages against their religious beliefs). other than that, if 2 dudes want to tie the know, freaking go for it.
