why don't we eliminate all marriage benefits for everyone?
that we would all be equal. just do away with marriage as an institution? homo's, hetro's, TG's, could all hook up but no benefits. no shared health care, no pension, or SS benefits. were all equal. what's wrong with that idea?
it's all BS and example of the social state. who give s a F about your GD kids? and now they are all ADD because somebody made up a disease.. F it! just do away with marriage. were all on our own!

I bet you are single to suggest this...and you don't believe much in the Bible...
Society has changed so much just in my life time.. most ppl do not bother to get married to begin w/ these days... they just live w/ each other.. and call it a day..
I am single.. but I think those who believe in the institution of marriage, should have the right to benefits especially if they are married a long time...
why shouldn't insurance benefits cover ones spouse, they pay for it, perhaps they take care of the home, kids or they are unable to work outside the home for health reasons..Just as many men take care of the home today as women.. they are out of a job...
I see your point.. but I don't think the ones who have paid for years should be penalized b/c of other problems in the world .. Just b/c some ppl can't except homo or hetro's or whatever..

Marriage is fitting much less and not more of a challenge as it's. Fewer humans have become married each yr. Marriage is nearly a devout factor the federal government latched directly to. At least part the marriages result in divorce besides so what's the huge deal approximately it. As I see it there may be little or no want for marriage anymore. With a couple of alterations within the legislation we would get alongside very good no longer having marriage. I feel church buildings would maintain marriage for individuals who believe it's quintessential, however the relaxation folks would are living very good with out going via a rite and signing a work of paper so they can traditionally be voided in a couple of years besides.

Well some people like the benefits of a marriage and like to think of themselves as a married and forever committed couple than two people who will date forever. And I agree on equality too, but people need to just be smart about things, don't get married if your not ready finacially, or uncomfortable with the fact homo's, TG's, etc should do it too.

Because a lot of folks are married and they feel they deserve special rights over those that aren't married.
And we vote.

I like that idea. Then there would be no alimony or women taking men for everything they can.
