Is there a way to make toilet bowl fill with more water?
My toilet bowl doesn't seem to fill very high with water. It's probably one of those "water saver" toilets. Anyway, is there a way to make it fill higher with water.
If you raise the water level in the toilet tank, does that make the bowl fill higher?
Does putting a brick in the tank like in the old days do anything to raise the bowl level, or is that just an old way to save water?
Would replacing the fill valve in the tank raise the water level in bowl?
Thanks!

the toilet will just drain out any extra water, go ahead and take a pitcher of water and pour it in and see

Increasing the water in the tank will increase the lvl in the bow only due to water still running through the filltube passing the flush valve. The brick trick makes a toilet a more of a water saver. What kind of toilet is it?

In the fill tank, there is a waterline on the back inside and the water level must be at that level. If it is below it, then the inlet valve has to be adjusted until it is on this mark. Modern Toilets today do not flush like the older ones.

Fill valves are adjustable. If it is the old style with a float ball, just bend it up a little(the rod) and if it's a newer style the fill valve can be turned up like a bolt on a nut to allow more water in the tank.

The brick in the tank just limits the amount of water needed in the cistern - the water level in the toilet bowl is a product of the U-bend in it- you can't change the water level without altering the U-bend shape in the toilet bowl (short of putting a brick in the bowl- which would defeat the object).

The water line going from the close off to your lavatory has a clear out in it. Take it off and notice no remember if this is clogged. till now that, make valuable your close off isn't close off. Low water tension? additionally no remember if this is an previous abode the line could be too small going to the lavatory which does no longer enable adequate water tension. finally get a sparkling assembly on your tank for this is clogged. i'm speaking with reference to the tower looking situation on your tank. shouldn't fee better than 20 dollars.
