Pls..im desperate for your opinion?
My husband lives in guyana. His mom lives in new york (US). She sponsered him wen she was a permanent resident of the united states. She is now in the process of becoming a citizen and was called in for the citizenship interview next month. (so im thinking she'll get the certificate soon.
After she gets the certificate she has to send it in to the embassy and request the sponsership category to be changed from F2B to F1..bcuz F1 would be the rite category for the case after she updates it.
Upon checking the visa bulletin I noticed that F1 date is june 22 2005 and his priority date is november 2005...
Ok so my question is : in your opinion how long would it actually take for him to join me.here in the US..
I really miss him :(

You are mistaken. F-1 is for unmarried sons. Since he is married the category is F-3. The priority date for which in June is 4-1-02, which means a waiting perio]d of 3 to four years. However, if his mother lied about his marital status when she petitioned for him, there may be a problem.

Since the I-130 has already been approved, the son would be in the F3 family preference category. They are currently working at petitions with a March 8, 2002 priority date. That means 10 years and a couple of months. Since his priority date of November 2005 is locked in, he still will have to wait about 3-1/2 years longer.
If YOU are a U.S. citizen, you can petition for him, and he'll be here in less than a year. However, it's weird that husband and wife live in different countries. I wonder why you don't live with your husband in his country until he can move to the U.S. . . .
