What would be a nice gesture, or gift to offer a Wiccan priest after a home cleansing?
I have recently moved to a new residence and have asked a local Wiccan priest to come over and preform a home cleansing. I was just wondering if there were any traditional ways to show my appreciation for their services?

My husband and I perform house blessings/cleansings and we would enjoy a set of taper candles, incense of good quality, or quality essential oil of rose or frankincense or myrrh. I would avoid gifting statuary as you don't know the Deities with Whom your priest works.

I don't know of anything traditional, but
A nice gesture would be a altar Item. Possibly a small statuary
or something unique like an Egyptian Greek or Celtic item.
Also, we pagans never have enough candles or incense
or holders for that matter. A chalice would be nice,
So would a CD of some nice Celtic music or a meditation CD.

I find candles and incense always makes nice gifts for Wiccans if you don't know much about their personal trads or needs. Other items might include a nice altar cloth, candle holders, essential oils, or if he drinks tea a nice gift set of herbal teas.

Some may accept money, but I've always found that to be a little awkward and informal. Something homemade will definitely be appreciated. Bread, cupcakes, cookies. I personally have always been fond of gifting fresh herbs, a nice loaf of artisan bread, and a good wine. If you have a special talent, like candle making or sewing, gift them something made with your personal gift.

Give him the GIFT of Eternal Life though accepting Our Lord Jesus Christ, as his Savior.
