intel motherboard DG41RQ question?

my intel DG41RQ motherboard is complaint.

Bought it on march 21, 2010.

How many years warranty does intel provide for motherboard ?

Will they replace that motherboard and give a new one or do they repair it and send it back to me ?

Update:

problem of motherboard is that it wont switch on

Update 2:

yes, green light is ON in the motherboard.

NO beep sound is heard. No display coming out.

All fans are working.

Dont say its power supply and RAM problem. I changed the power supply and RAM. Still not working.

That is a link that gives you all the direction you need to answer your question, perform the suggested troubleshooting and then pursue warranty support if that doesn't fix whatever your problem is.

Towards the bottom of the page you will see a list of motherboards this page applies to and yours is included.

Hope that helps you solve whatever issues you have.

Edit: Just noticed you added info. A couple questions I would like you to answer to help us help you:

Did anything change between the last time it booted normally and when you had a problem? Any hardware changes, even configurations, installation of games/programs?

You say you changed the RAM. Before or after the problem happened? Did you replace it or did you try to remove all RAM and then install one module at a time? Sometimes you have to use process of elimination. RAM slots can go bad. Remove all RAM and install one at a time. If it boots you keep going until one of them won't let it boot and you have your culprit. Not the case, then other places to look.

Case Power switch. Could be bad. Hard to troubleshoot without moving to a new case.

Power Supply. Again, was the change before or after the problem? Is the 4 pin power plug connected?

All of this is going to be covered here: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/...

There are several things to look at and the online no boot wizard seems pretty good. It's not going to be as good as an experienced techie but it might lead you to what your problem is.

Now, I know you're frustrated. You want someone to deliver a quick fix answer. You appear to be getting upset with answers that tell you to do something you already did. Remember people are trying to help you and with very little information. We're not there to see you do anything so it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack in the dark. Be patient and if nothing here helps fix it then do whatever Intel suggests to either get it repaired or replaced.

If you get different results or symptoms please post them if you still haven't found the issue and we'll see if we can find more you can try.

I hope this helps get you up and running!

what is wrong with the motherboard?

EDIT: does the green led on the motherboard turn on when you switch the computer on?

Are you getting the 2 beeps at startup?

Maybe the power supply (SMPS) is defective and needs to be replaced
