Is it weird that i only want friendship from the guy that i am very attracted to? ?
I'm 16 finishing sophomore year and he's 18 and graduating....anyway for almost a year I've been very attracted to him and have liked him a lot and after thinking about it I don't want to be with him for sex, a relationship or anything like that but to be his friend...in fact for the brief amount of time that I thought he had.a girlfriend. I was more jealous of her getting to be his best friend rather than girlfriend ....sorry if this is confusing

No this is legit. People can say that you're lusting after this person or something, but the real reasons are deep down in your heart. I'm pretty sure the when the whole gf came about you were pissed and probably thought the world was going end. Then you started thinking of the different ways murder her.
You are attracted to him. If you went out with another guy, he'd be talking to you and the words would going out the other ear. In a way you'd feel like you were cheating on your true love also. Try to let him know that you like him.
