Nonsense! You are free under the Constitution of the United States to write what you want.

Of course it's alright to send scriptures to him and anyone else that needs them.

Being in the Army, he needs all the protection from God that he can get. The word

of God can always be a comfort especially when surrounded by so many others

that have no interests in it. Give him all the spiritual encouragement you can.

When I joined the Air Force, they gave each new recruit a New Testament which I

    still have since 1952.

Your boyfriend is a believer in God. Forget the atheists on this site, they aren't going to know the comfort of a carefully and lovingly sent Bible verse. Christians view the Bible as their light, and a verse will be a wonderful comfort to him. If you aren't a believer, and you see a verse that touches you, then you've found the verse you need. Whether or not he is justified in going to war, that is between him and his God. Look through Proverbs, Psalms, or Song of Solomon for philosophical, spiritual, or romantic verses for your boyfriend.

Stop listening to people and do what the Lord leads you to do. He probably needs a spiritual boost. David was trained to kill and was one of God's favorite people in the Bible.

    Chapter 24

The Lamanites come against the people of God—The Anti-Nephi-Lehies rejoice in Christ and are visited by angels—They choose to suffer death rather than to defend themselves—More Lamanites are converted. About 90–77 B.C.

    yes.

how does a bible verse suppose to help him.

"he's trained to kil people and jesus wouldn't want that."

false. god has killed many. plus jesus is coming back with a sword to kill more.

Instead of quoting 2000 year old text that disagrees with itself - why not use your imagination and write something personal.

Yea send him some verses that tell him to kill unbelievers, your god won't send you to hell for that.

  • Send them away. He needs spiritual encouragement.

Real Christians do not go learning how to kill people. Your boyfriend is no Christian, sorry.
