How to get over a girl that I really genuinely liked? READ DESCRIPTION!?

I went to prom recently and I started to like my date. She found out I liked her before I told her how I felt and I was like whatever then, so we hung out a lot and we had fun! I felt like she was into me, her friends would tell me that she talks about me in a good way a lot. So I was like wow maybe this will work. So I told her I liked her and she didn't give me a straight up answer. (This was all a day after prom) supposedly she wanted to hook up (make out) on prom night but she got drunk and I was buzzed and I didn't want to take advantage of her especially cause she never had a boyfriend and never kissed a guy so I didn't wanna be that dick that she would regret something with so I didn't do anything we just cuddled which was fine with me! :D But then when I told her how I felt she didn't give me a "Yes I like you" or a "No I don't like you that way." She said she wasn't ready for a relationship cause we are both going off to college and cause everything was happening so fast, she was unsure. After prom we hung out and we still kept in contact. She was giving "US" a try. We hung out and went to lunch and the movies one day and we finally kissed and made out for her first time! So I thought if she has never kissed a guy before that I'm the lucky guy and maybe she does like me. But after the kiss and the make out a couple days later we spoke and the texting and everything started to die off. So I was thinking wow she used me...this sucks. She texted me one night that she can't do what we are doing with me anymore, I was angry and disappointed because I really like her we basically pulled a friends with benefits thing. I was mainly mad cause I asked her to prom and out on dates in person and I told her how I felt through a phone call but she thinks she has the decency to text me this! I was heated! So we argued. At the end of the convo. I just finally said fine whatever. She wants to still be friends and she said she wants me to sign her year book and **** like that. So I was like "yeah sure...." but I really meant I don't give a fuuuuh anymore. So I saw her at school and I said hi to her and she straight out ignored me and went straight to class. I was like wow...what a *****. So we planned to go to lunch as friends and she says she can't go cause of a club meeting, so I'm done trying. I'd like to say I'm done with her, but I need some help on this situation. I still like her more than a friend cause we were prom dates and all the things we did together and shes really pretty but I don't want to like her anymore cause she hurt me so badly. So what do I do from here? Do I still try to be friends with her? Should I not follow thru on hanging out when she asks to hangout....and should I not sign her yearbook cause I really don't want to see her first off but I don't wanna be a dick. PLEASE HELP ME!

    Hi there!

Hmm, it's difficult to tell but from what you are telling us, it seems as if she has some sort of problem. That's particularly odd that she was cautious of not going to far with you on your prom night, almost as if she really thought about her true feelings and that's why she decided to go out with you.

Maybe there is a reason why she can't be with you, parents are very protective etc. I can see where you are coming from about her not having the decency to call you or speak face to face. I've been there, mate. My ex boyfriend NEVER called me, it was always done by text and it drove me insane. But that's another thing.

If I were you, for now, try being her friend. If she asks to hang out, of course, go! What do you have to lose? Just don't make yourself too "available", if you get me. Don't push it, a simple smile in the corridor next time could have an impact.

P.S. Sign her yearbook, it's a friendly thing to do. It's for the memories to look back on years ahead from now. Good luck.

First off, I can tell you this FOR SURE, she LOVES the attention :p

So as long as you give her that much attention, I am GUESSING she is going to go farther away & seek more attention from you. If you get what I mean.

You story is verrry cute! But she sounds like she is using you. Or did use you. But then again. I am not sure if she would still be friends if she used you. Get what I'm trying to say?

Anyways, try being normal again. Like try not show that you still like her. Hangout with her, but turn down some too. Dont seem AS involved as before. And I think you should Definitely sign her yearbook or you may regret it later on. Dont have to be soo intense. Just the basics. HAGS. lol

I hope everything works out well!

    Best of Luck! (:

:(..... So sad maybe she has a good reason maybe she's just nervous maybe she's afraid of a relationship I bet you I would.... But then what if she is a ***** what if she did use you, talk to her friends see what there saying. And if she is what you think she is now.... Time will heal you, also find someone new show her your over her. She might come running back and don't take her for a while and then it's your choice....... Don't forget to talk to her friends see what they think
