Can you take a very quick survey on your belief in fate and/or a god?

1) Do you believe in any all-powerful deity, or any god that has influence over peoples’ lives?

2) How does your answer to #1 affect your daily life?

3) Do you believe that you have the ability to decide your life’s purpose?

4) Do you believe in fate, destiny, or any similar idea? (elaborate if necessary)

Thank you so much!

    1. I believe that there is a supreme being, his son died on the cross.

    2. He is the reason that I follow a code of morality. He is my judge and my father, my creator.

    3. The thought of eternal love and happiness drives me toward Gods path.

    4. There is no fate but what you make of it. This is one of the greatest gifts from God to man. We choose our path, our life, our choices. This and only this is what rewards us, or condemns us.

    Thanks.

    I believe in G_d.

I believe that for G_d to influence a persons life that the person has to believe and because of that belief is influenced by trying to live life in a way that is pleasing to G_D.

I try to be a more thoughtful non-judgmental person.

Yes I decide my life's purpose, lol, by living it I create it. I also believe I chose my life's purpose before coming here. Don't believe I always know what I chose before coming here.

No, I do not believe that we are locked into fate or anything else. I believe we came with a purpose, promptly forgot and yet we still are drawn to our purpose, sometimes never knowing what it is.

I am not a member of a religion, but I do believe in G_d, just not the one that so many tried to teach me about.

I am also not a vegetarian but I eat veggies.

    1. No.

    2. Causes some arguments with my parents now and then, and I don't go to church or anything. Otherwise it has no effect.

    3. Yes. My life has no inherent purpose so I can feel free to assign it one.

    4. Effectively, no. There is nothing supernatural guiding our lives towards certain outcomes. I believe in destiny only in the sense that the universe is four-dimensional and has always contained its entire history from start to finish, but we ourselves can't know what our destiny will be like until we get there.

For several years I was atheist, but mediatated and acknowledged the power of the mind. I sought truth but found mostly fairytales in christianity and other mainstream religions.

    2) As an atheist seeking truth, I lived to be happy and bring a smile to those around me.

    3) Yes.

    4) Kind of. Everyone has choices. Some opportunities seem fateful. It's up to the individual to take advantage of the opportunities they come across.

    Here's a website I found interesting: www.exposingchristianity.com

Now, I ackcnowledge beings with greter spiritual power than us humans. It is my goal to become like them--immortal.
