Dreams often form from your fears and desires.
I had a dream that I was sleeping with a girl I find attractive. I also had a dream of being chased by crazy monkeys.
Yet in practical terms those dreams turn to nothing. The only meaning they have is I want to have a sex life with that attractive girl and I find monkeys kind of creepy.
So your friend likely was thinking about this or similar ideas and either liked or feared the idea and it made its way into a dream.

Well the word conjugal is a descriptive word relating to the marriage of husband and wife. God refers to the church as His bride so that completely makes sense. It means God is our great husband and he loves us in comparison of a deep love between husband and wife.
