yes and that stands true in all of life. but i know a secret that i cant tell. Discovery will be on the part of those doing wrong. A female can get pregnant every 2 months and less if exposed to a tom. the first time she takes an exercise walk after kittens are born.

At one point we had 11 cats on the farm as my sister would not let Dad drown the kittens. Mother Nature then took over when the wandering toms came by and killed the kittens. Always two bite marks behind the skull. Now don't go raging about males! lol

My cat Jinx did the same thing but was MUCH better with the second litter and I only had to do a tiny bit of bottle feeding on the two smallest that kept getting pushed out of the way. They sell some kind of kitten formula in little cans at Petco here because cows milk is hard on their tummies.

Nursing has some contraceptive value - in all mammals; but it isn't a stratagem in which you can place total faith.

Lots of people have trouble distinguishing between things which are broadly true and things which are absolutely true.

There are even people who have trouble distinguishing between what is absolutely true and utter bulldada. (We call them the Discovery Institute).

I have learn that when it comes to medical (or veterinary) issues all that can be discussed is statistical probability and that doesn't give a totally reliable guide.

My wife and I have a degree of alarm over the growing number of cats here.
