I got raped in early January by a so-called friend of mine and I took the abortion pill at 5 weeks pregnant so obviously I'm not completely against abortion. I just don't believe that it should be used as a form of contraception! I'm now on birth control pills, in fact, I take 2 every single night around 11 pm! I don't wanna have 2 have another abortion ever again! I bled for 74 days straight no lie!

There is a SERIOUS lack of sexual education in this country and many teens and young adults don't realize that vaginal sex isn't the only sexual contact that can get them pregnant. They also aren't taught about birth control because the general mentality in this nation is "If I don't teach my kids about birth control they won't be able to have sex." Many religious families fight to keep sexual education and condom vending machines out of our schools because they believe premarital sex is wrong and since they believe it is wrong their kids won't do it. They believe that providing the children with an education and protection is giving them the OK to have sex. Our nations is really messed up.

Plan B works by preventing ovulation. If ovulation already happened, it won't really work.

Also, many teens think that they cannot buy Plan B legally if they are under the age of 18 (which is not true).

Also, it costs about $50+, which many teenagers do not have immediately at their disposal.
