do golden retrievers jump on you?

like if you went to school,and ur dad stays with him while i am gone but like doesn't give him a lot of attention will he jump on me when i get home cuz he is excited?

    Yes. My aunt has a Golden and she jumped on everyone for the first few months, but they finally managed to train her so now she just runs up to you excitedly but doesn't jump.

    More than likely, yes..

    Any untrained, excited dog is more than likely going to jump up.

    Does your dog get enough exercise? If she gets proper exercise then she won't be jumping on you.

    some do, some don't. depends on temperament of the dog and training.
