How much does it cost to put a new ignition in a lawnmower?

I have an old Yard Machines 22" push mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine. It conks out after I use it for 10 mins and I can't start it again til the next day. My neighbor who repairs them did everything else, cleaned the carburetor, changed the spark plug, cleaned the gas tank, etc., but now he says I should take it to the repair shop and it could cost $65 -- but if it's that much, I'd get a new one. Also, the shop is closed this week. So, if anybody knows, I'd appreciate it.

You need a new mower Briggs & Stratton engines aren't automotive engines they are designed to last 3 to 5 years, so it's not worth replacing the coil.

To replace the coil it will cost you AT LEAST $65. Sounds like the most practical thing to do would be to order a new mower. See the site below to learn how to make a practical lawn mower decision.

It honestly isn't risky to positioned new gas in with the former gas. yet when the lawnmower sat all iciness without the gas being drained or a stabilizer extra you're in all probability dropping the recent gas. make positive the device will commence on the former gas earlier you upload more effective to the tank.
